Positive response to the Düsseldorf Fashion Days and First Dessous Days, including a weekend of extended store hours at the EUROMODA House Of Fashion
The Düsseldorf Fashion Days (DFD), held from July 22 to 29, 2026, once again brought together the fashion industry in the greater Düsseldorf/Neuss area this summer.
As part of the Düsseldorf Fashion Days, EUROMODA hosted the First Dessous Days and a weekend of open sales. More than 200 showrooms spanning over 70,000 square meters opened their doors, offering retailers the opportunity to select the latest fall/winter merchandise in addition to their regular ordering appointments. From EUROMODA’s perspective, the response to these events was very satisfactory.
“The Düsseldorf Fashion Days are an important event for international buyers and bring additional buzz to EUROMODA every year. We’re pleased that our showrooms (women’s ready-to-wear, lingerie, children’s wear, sportswear, accessories, and shoes) are also actively taking advantage of this period to welcome their customers from Germany and abroad to Neuss. The First Dessous Days and the additional weekend of extended store hours have further amplified this momentum,” said Dirk P. Goeldner, B.B.A., EUROMODA Center Manager.
For women’s apparel suppliers based at EUROMODA, the Düsseldorf Fashion Days are a staple on the fashion season calendar. The unique combination of different brands and collections available for ordering and selection at the EUROMODA location offers specialty retailers a convenient way to combine multiple appointments and minimize travel between individual suppliers.
“As in every season, the recent Düsseldorf Fashion Days were once again an important highlight of the ordering season for us. In addition to customers from Germany, clients from many other European countries also regularly make their way to our showroom at EUROMODA. They all appreciate being able to view many collections and complete their ordering appointments during these days. Despite the challenging market situation, we were once again very satisfied with the appointments and orders this time around and are already looking forward to the next edition of DFD in January,” said David Karntner of Textil Karntner GmbH & Co. KG.
Looking to the future, EUROMODA continues to focus on a broad mix of industries, complemented by exclusive fashion trade shows. With its approximately 30 B2B retail platforms, the EUROMODA House of Fashion ranks among the five largest fashion centers in Europe. At EUROMODA, it’s trade show season every day—365 days a year.
